The Civil Aviation Administration of the Republic of Moldova has issued Moldovan Civil Aviation Regulations that establish the requirements and procedures regarding the airworthiness of the aircraft registered in the Republic of Moldova in accordance with the recommended SARPS ICAO and of the other organizations, the Republic of Moldova being one of their members.
The Republic of Moldova is not a State of Design of the aeronautical products.
Validation of the Type Certificates and of the other documents attesting the Type Construction of aeronautic products is done on the basis of the Type Certificate (TCDS) issued in accordance with applicable foreign Airworthiness Codes implemeted in the Republic of Moldova.
The CAA Moldova issues/revalidates the Certificates of Airworthiuness in case the aircraft:
- conforms to the Type Design approved under a Type Certificate, and any applicable Supplement Type Certificate, and to applicable Airworthinesss Directives; and
- The aircraft has been inspected with the appropriate airworthiness requirements; and
- The CAA Moldova вашты that the aircraft conforms to the Type Design and is in condition for safe operation.
The procedures for initial issuance/revalidation/suspension or revocation of the Certificate of Airworthiness are described in RAC-AW "Airworthiness of an aircraft" (MD) | (RU) and JAR-21 Subparts H&F.
