The draft « Civil Aviation Development Strategy » for 2007-2012 has been approved on 22.08.2007 at Government session. Government Members have estimated the Strategy as a constructive and satisfactory one. The present strategy systematizes activities in the civil aviation domain in an effort to create conditions and mechanisms for the development of the present field, reasoning from the existing level of the branch development, strategic objectives of the national economy and global prospects in civil aviation. The strategy defines priorities, ways of their implementation and basic objectives of the civil aviation development of the Republic of Moldova for 2007-2012.
In 2006 Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) has developed a draft « Civil Aviation Development Strategy » for 2007-2016 which has been published on CAA site for acquaintance of interested persons. The draft has been presented on May, 2nd 2007 to the Government session for approval, but as a result of discussion and several proposals, it has been decided to make some amendments to reflect measures which follow to be implemented before 2012.
The Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Moldova has been appointed responsible for representation of the draft at the Government session.
At the same time, we would like to mention the fact that Civil Aviation Patronage of the Republic of Moldova has presented a positive notification of the given draft which will promote further development of Civil Aviation of the Republic Moldova.
