On 02.05.2007 Civil Aviation Administration will organise for the first time in the History of the Republic of Moldova special courses for training commercial pilots.
Studies will be held at the State Enterprise “ Training Aeronautical Center ” into two stages: practical and theoretical course. Theoretical course will last 9 months, and practical – 15 months, on a new type of aircraft Da-42, manufactured in Austria and equipped with two engines and four seats. This type of aircraft has established itself as the most productive and modern aircraft, which is recognized at the international level. Courses will be hold by the most experienced specialists in the Republic of Moldova . After finishing the courses, pilots will be issued with a "SPL” certificate (commercial pilot's licence), and they will enjoy the right to be train on special type of aircrafts (Airbus, Boeing etc).
At the same time, it is planned to acquire a simulator for training in hazardous situations which could not be simulated in the air.
