In the Plan of Action of Republic of Moldova – UE Civil Aviation Administration has the aim to obtain the status of full member of the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA). In order to achieve this goal CAA made every effort to convince the JAA that it is ready to become full membership of this organizations.
As a result, during the period 03-06.04.2007 Civil Aviation Administration hosted the experts of Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA), which monitors the civil aviation of Republic of Moldova with a view to conformation to European aeronautical standards in the field of licensing, airworthiness and flight operation.
On 06.04.2006 team of experts presented the report regarding the results of inspections and noted with satisfaction that there are no findings on aeronautical regulatory base of the Republic of Moldova and its acceptance as a full member of JAA.The report will be presented in September for approval by the Directors General state member of JAA. At the same time, JAA experts noted the progress made by specialists in the field and the high level of professionalism of CAA staff.
