On May 8, 2007 Civil Aviation Administration of the Republic of Moldova suspended the Air Operator Certificate issued for operators C.A. “Aeronord-group” SRL and Î.S. “Aeroportul International Marculesti”. The corresponding actions have been taken due to a low level of flight safety, as well as the failure to comply international safety requirements revealed by the inspectors.
As a result of revealing of operational safety-related deficiencies , concerned with ensurance of flight safety, CAA also issued the Order 77/GEN from 08.05.2007 regarding the prohibition to operate within the territory of member states of the European Union by operators JET STREAM, JET LINE INTERNATIONAL, TIRAMAVIA.
Failure to comply with prohibition leads to revocation of Air Operator Certificate. The prohibition could be canceled after eliminating the deficiencies and bringing the activity parameters to established level standard, set by international organizations.
